18A- Customer Avatar
My prototypical customer avatar would have to be an older lady in her 40's with a large family that is always busy. If it isn't church on Sunday, the kids sporting events on Saturday, kids extra curricular actives after school during the week, or having to work a full time job her days are always busy. She rarely even has time for herself. Recycling is the last thing on this busy moms mind. All she knows is that little Timmy takes the trash out every week and it is taken care of for her. My idea will help her feel better about recycling almost hassle free while living a very hard and busy life for no fee at all! My monthly news letters about recycling facts would make her day just a little better and hopefully she will spread the good word of my service to all of her friends who are most likely also busy moms with large families.

ReplyDeleteYour blog post is very easy to understand. Soccer moms are a very common and relatable stereotype that is a great example for this avatar assignment. As well, full schedules are something that everyone can relatively relate to, so the avatar that you have constructed for this assignment and your segment is a perfect fit for your opportunity.

ReplyDeleteYou did a great job describing your prototypical customer. I believe many people can relate to the busy soccer mom even if they are not female. Americans in general tend to live life in a faced paced manor and are drawn to anything that can aid them in making daily tasks easier to accomplish especially if it helps them cut back on wasted time.
Hey Myles, your post was very clear and concise. I also liked your soccer mom comparison because a lot of people have full time schedules without much time to do anything else. Lastly, I liked how you tied in your own situation at the end as being a super busy person as it shows that everyone shares similar problems within society.
